CU Accounting Services Specialist – Remote
CU Books, a leading provider of specialized accounting services to Credit Unions, is seeking a remote Accounting Services Specialist to join its team. Reporting to the CU Accounting Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that Credit Unions receive comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services that meet their specific needs.

As an Accounting Services Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage all the accounting, bookkeeping, and back-office functions that are essential to Credit Union operations. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact between CU Books and Credit Union leadership.
This role is critical to the success of each Credit Union and CU Books, and we are seeking an individual who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, working collaboratively within a team, and continuously seeking to improve the quality of our services.
As a fully remote position, you will be required to communicate effectively with team members through remote meeting tools. You must also have access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions. You will need to demonstrate a high degree of self-direction and possess the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines without close supervision.

To be considered for this position, you must have at least two years of experience in Credit Union or Bank accounting and be proficient with Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with the digital recon process in Excel is also highly desirable. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, the ability to train others in a professional setting, and demonstrate sound judgment and common sense.
